ARTHUR PALMER
Arthur L. Palmer of Finlayson passed away at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Eldo Peterson at Giese on Nov. 14, 1967, after an illness of three years,
being bedridden since May 23rd, 1967.
Mr. Palmer had reached the age of 92 years 11 months and 15 days.
The survivors include his wife Amanda, six daughters: Elsie, Mrs. Eldo
Peterson; and Viola, Mrs. Fred Hekel, both of Giese; Irene, Mrs. Marvin Perkins
of Willmar; Alpha, Mrs. Albert Nelson of Sandstone; Bernice, Mrs. Walter
Bartelma of McGrath; Sylvia, Mrs. Wm. Langenbach of Finlayson; one son, Elmer
Palmer of Finlayson; 28 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Hamlin Funeral Home at Finlayson.
Interment was in the Giese cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were the sons-in-law, Eldo Peterson, Fred Henkel,
Marvin Perkins, Albert Nelson, Walter Bartelma and Wm. Langenbach.
Mr. Palmer and family moved to Aitkin county from Winthrop in 1919 and had
resided there until his demise.(1)
