71. Annis Darby ⁽¹⁾ was born on 9 Dec 1768 in Westminster, Worcester, Massachusetts. She was born on 19 Dec 1768.

She was married to Josiah CONANT in Nov 1784 in Westminster, Worcester, Massachusetts. One of the first settlers of Gardner, Worcester, Massachusetts. Lived in East part of town on place now know as the Shutes place. Gardner broken off from Westminster in 1785.
Josiah CONANT⁽¹⁾ was born in 1758 in Westmineter, Worcester, Massachusetts. He died in 1835. Born in Wetminster in 1758, he was a farmer residing in the east part of town. He enlisted in September 1776 for three months' service in the defense of Boston, or for a shorter term at a later date. He was in the company of Captain Manasseh Sawyer of Lancaster, Colonel Dike's Regiment. He also served as a private in Captain Elisha Jackson's Company as a reinforcement to the army under General Gates to prevent the British forces from joing with Bourgoyne, remaining at his post until the surrender of the enemy on Oct 17th 1777.
