307. James Thomas COMEE ⁽¹⁾ was born on 29 Nov 1839 in Petersham, Worcester, Massachusetts. He died on 18 Oct 1899 in Boston, Suffolk, Massahcusetts. Prior to joining the Brighton (Boston) Police Department on March 30, 1865, James was a manufacturer. James was promoted to the position of Sergeant on March 12, 1877. He was still a Brighton Policeman at the time of death.

He was married to Fanny L. STEADMAN on 8 Dec 1866. Fanny L. STEADMAN⁽¹⁾ was born on 20 Jan 1844 in Mill Village, Nova Scotia. She died on 23 Nov 1886 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.

He was married to Vesta Louisa POMEROY (daughter of Thomas J. POMERY and Caroline) on 16 Oct 1890 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Vesta Louisa POMEROY ⁽¹⁾ was born on 12 Nov 1849 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. James Thomas COMEE and Vesta Louisa POMEROY had the following children:
