375. John Hale COMEY ^{(5)(6) (1)} was born on 25 May 1860 in Wilmot, New Hampshire. He died on 20 Apr 1937 in Melrose, Massachusetts due to pulmonery embolism. In 1886 John moved to Melrose from Boston where he learned the tailoring business at the N.W. Godard Company. In 1888 he went to work for Cumner, Jones & Co.

He was married to Isabella Hunter MCKAY (daughter of Donald A. MCKAY) on 26 Nov 1885 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Isabella Hunter MCKAY⁽¹⁾ was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. John Hale COMEY and Isabella Hunter MCKAY had the following children:
