Mrs. Quilla Mae Corbett of 1126 Whitney Ave. died Wednesday night at Georgia Rest Care Home in Sylvester.
She was a native of Winchester, Tenn., born June 14, 1897, daughter of the late Isaac Limbaugh and Ella Hinson Limbaugh. She had lived in Albany for 41 years and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. A.A. Thursby of Albany and Mrs. Joe Griffin of Atlanta; four sons, A.C. Corbett of Albany, Charles William Corbett of Mobile, Ala., Wesley Corbett of Albany, and James Corbett of Atlanta; one sister, Mrs. C.C. Veasey of Sylvester; two half brothers, Nathan Driskell of Macon and Autus Driskell of Reidsville; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Chapel with the Rev. Carl Plymel, pastor of Pretoria Church of God, officiating.
Internment will be announced by Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Directors.
The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Corbett of 1603 Highland Ave.

The Funeral of Mrs. Quilla Mae Corbett of 1126 Whitney Ave. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Chapel with the Rev. Carl Plymel, Jr., pastor of Pretoria Church of God, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dick Driskell, L.H. Anderson, L.G. Anderson, Ray Janelle, C.B. Veasey and John Watson. Internment will be at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Corbett died Wednesday at Georgia Care Rest Home in Sylvester after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Winchester, Tenn., but had lived in Albany for 41 years. She was a member of the Church of God.
