FAMILY GENEALOGIST

The first and most interesting event in my life is the fact that my father delivered me in the front seat of the car on the way to the hospital. I grew up at 12 Irma Lane in East Northport, New York. I am the youngest of seven children and it seems that all my childhood memories revolve around my family. The house always seemed to be full. After High School I went to college at SUNY Cortland. I graduated with a BS in Education - Specializing in Physical Education. After graduating I coached gymnastics full time and worked as an outdoor education teacher part time. After a year I got my first teaching job in New York City at the Ethical Culture-Fieldston Schools on 64th and Central Park West. I then worked for two years at New York Friends School on East 16th Street and Rutherford Place. I then worked one year for the New York City Board Of Education at PS 87 on West 78th Street. In 1996 I began teaching on Long Island as a full time Physical Education Teacher in Port Washington, New York. I went on to get my Master's Degree at Queens College in Exercise Physiology.
