Martha was born in 1875 in Ringgold Co. Iowa to Henry F. and Sarah Martin. I located her obituary which identified her siblings living at the time of her death. Here is her obituary:

He died on 29 May 1859 in Caledonia, Ringgold Co., Iowa. second child of John and Sarah Walter, was the first settler and also the founder of Caledonia in Lotts Creek Twp., Ringgold Co., Iowa. He was the first Postmaster of this little village. He died of consumption May 29, 1859, and was one of the first persons to be buried in the Caledonia Cemetery.
