Ida Wells (b. December 31, 1903, d. February 01, 1997)

Ida Wells (daughter of George Wells and Flora Jane Askwith) was born December 31, 1903 in York, Yorkshire, England, and died February 01, 1997 in Glendale, California. She married Alexander Lindores on July 13, 1927 in Holy Trinity Rectory, Hamilton, Arecaster Township, Canada, son of James Lindores.

Notes for Ida Wells:
Ida was just a toddler when her parents immigrated to Canada. The probably cam eto Halifax by ship.
Her parents homesteaded out of Meota, Saskatchewan. Her father called her Bluebell or Bluebird.
She made the best pie crust and christmas cookies of anyone I know. She loved Monte Hall and gardening.
She lived in Glendale until she passed away and then Yvonne Lindores Ferguson arranged burial in Newcastle, Calif. where she and Jack Ferguson retired to in the late 70's.

nana and pa_- just went to a county clerk or something,to get
married. i have never seen any pictures. when we moved from
victoria, we lost several boxes, of mom's things.
