Ancestors of Susan Elaine DOLSEN

My grandmother was Hazel Della Comstock. She was born February 7, 1895, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents were Andrew Jackson Comstock and Elizabeth Walcher. Her father was a canalman on the Ohio and Erie Canal. They had a family of six children - 4 boys and 2 girls. They attended the Quaker church in Independence and later on Warner Road in Cleveland. The Comstock's came to Ohio in the early 1800's. They setteled in Independence,Ohio and by the early 1890's had moved to Cleveland. My grandmother married Raymond Knapp on May 19, 1920, they had one child, my Mother. The Walcher family was from Glarus, Switzerland and moved to this area between 1854 and 1856. I am researching the Comstock, Knapp and Walcher line.
