*NOTE: I had an Uncle John Folden who had a "hump back" (from an accident while feeding a horse - leaning over the manger in front of the horse - horse was eager to get the Oats(?) - broke his back - that's the story as I remember it). John perhaps could be "Emil"..??
Also, I have information that says Jens wife (my grandmother) is: Anne M.(Marie, I think) Folden (Gjorsvold) - it would seem she is indeed the Marie that is reported to be Jens wife - I don't think he married twice - not sure about the discrepancy in name)
It also seems from the 1910 MN census that there is a daughter named Lina who was 19 at that time - Information from the notes of Anna Folden indicate she may have been a daughter of Marie (Jens wife) but not Jen's. She may have been adopted by Jens..
