was born about 1830 in St. Francois County, MO. He served in the military
between 1862 and 1865 in Civil War. James Irby Welborn served as a PRIVATE in
the Civil War (Company L, 21st Texas Regiment Calvary - Confederate States Army)
under Capt. Stone. He enlisted on Feb 13, 1862 and served until the close of

He was married to Nettie Ann MOORE on Nov 22 1855 in Dent, Mo.. Nettie Ann MOORE was born about 1830 in Missouri. She died after 1915.
