SECOND GENERATION

2. Daniel FRAZIER was born in 1703 in Bertie County, NC. Other evidence from Internet shows a Daniel born in Alloa Clackmanan, Scotland on July 2, 1688 and died in Granville County in 1760. His wife is shown as Margaret Dason, born in Scotland. However, if Daniel's father was John B. Frazier, born in 1674 in North Carolina, the dates just will not work. Research is ongoing. He served in the military about 1715 in Preston, Lancashire, England. Daniel was among the rebels captured at Preston, Lancashire on November 14, 1715. The rebels were supporters of the exiled James II of England and his heirs. He died about 1778 in Bertie County, NC. He immigrated. He was taken prisoner when the rebellion leaders surrendered. He was sent to South Carolina as an indentured servant for seven years. He arrived aboard the ship SUSANAH. I also have evidence (WFT) of a Daniel Frazier born JUly 2, 1688 in Alloa, Clackmanan, Scotland, who died about 1760 in Granville County. He was married to Margaret Dason and their children are lised as Malachi, Jeremiah, and William.

Margaret DAWSON was born in Scotland. Daniel FRAZIER and Margaret DAWSON had the following children:
