Edward Gabel, 68, of Swansea, died Thursday, May 22, at St. Elizab eth
Hospital in Belleville.
He was a retired plumber. He was a member of St. Clair County Ang ler
Association in Belleville, Moose Lodge 221, Plumbers Local 101 and Mo lders
Local 182.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, the former Esther T. Brochetto; a son , Richard
'Dick' Gabel of New London, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jeann ine) Watts
of Coulterville and Mrs. Lonnie (Lynn) Fulte of Waterloo; a brother , Marion
Gabel of Shiloh; tow sisters, Mrs. Moise (Loretta) Wambergue and Mrs . Melvin
Little both of Swansea; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, May 26, at the Pete Gae rdner
Funeral Home in Belleville. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gar dens in
Belleville.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the funeral hom e. *******
