Robert and Ellen lived in the Grey Friars over the river stour for the first few months of marriage, it is now a Chaple with a lot of history, my Grandfather told me about it. During World War II my Father took me to see the Grey Friars, it was in need of repair and not open to the public, a man appeared and told us it was not safe, when Dad told him who he was the man said "wait I will get a key, after that Dad took me through an alley into the street, walking across the street to a corner shop, it was painted dark green we entered, two ladies were behind the counter my Dad spoke their names, the younger looked hard put her hand to her mouth " Jack Woolley ".
