Julianna Pfeiffer-Sipos

Julianna Pfeiffer-Sipos
Second oldest of the 3 Pfeiffer-Sipos sisters. She married Lajos Becska and converted to Christianity -as a result of this conversion, she escaped being taken to concentration camp. In the early 1950's she lost a leg in a trolleycar accident. During the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, her husband escaped with 23 relatives and emigrated to the United States. A few years later, Lajos was able to bring her to the U.S. and they lived in New Jersey. Julianna died first and Lajos died a few years later. Both lived to be in their 80's. They chose not to have any children. Both wanted to be cremated and their ashes dispersed in the ocean. Their wish was fulfilled.
