Cynthia Ann Garner (daughter of William Lamar Garner and Florene Jeanette Beran) was born July 06, 1955 in Texarkana, AR., and died February 02, 1987 in Cabot, AR.. She married (1) Kevin Kelsey. She married (2) Frederick J. Brown, Jr..

Notes for Cynthia Ann Garner:
Cindy, as Cynthia was known, was our first born. What a happy child she was! She did have her moments however. She was a compassionate and caring person. Her motto was "Aday without a smile is a day wasted". She always had a smile on her face. Cindy spent her preteen years as an Army Brat, living on Army posts around the world. She was an honor graduate of dear old Dardanelle High. She received her BS in Education from the University of Central Arkansas. She spent some time in the U.S. Air Force and really worked at Officers Training School to earn her commission and 2nd Lts Butter Bar.
She resigned her commission to Marry Cpt. Frederick J. Brown, Jr. That marriage lasted for seven years before ending in divorce. Cindy and Fred had two lovely girls. Melissa Lea, and Amanda Michille.
Cindy met and later married Kevin Kelsey and resided in Cabot, Ar..where she was employed as an elementary school teacher. Cindy was killed instantly in a tragic one car accident on the Cabot school grounds on Feb 2, 1987.
