Josephine Mae McCleary only stayed in the orphanage for a short period and was taken in by the Walsh family who had taken her sister Mary Ann McCleary. Aunt pheenie as Josephine was known to us kids, Was a kindred spirit and she loved life to the fullest and acted like she enjoyed every minute, She met and married a man named Alan G. Wilson an insurance broker. Because of his work, they traveled
all over South Texas between San Antonio and Mccallen, TX. Alan was quite a character, and took great care in his appearance. Because of this he was dubbed: The Squire, and all of us kids called him "Uncle Squire".
