16. Peter Gehris ⁽¹⁾ was born on 27 Jan 1831 in Berks County, Pa. He was baptized on 1 Mar 1831 in Huff's Ref. Ch., Hereford Twp., Lehigh Co., Pa.. He died on 5 Jul 1884 in Chestnut Hill Church, Lower Milford Twp. Lehigh Co., Pa.. He was buried about 8 Jul 1984 in Chestnut Hill Cem., L. Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., Pa.. An 1876 map indicates the location of his farm, which he purchased in 1868, as in the Dietz District, Lower Millford Township, Lehigh County, PA. He was married to Anna Maria Gehris on 25 Feb 1854.

17. Anna Maria Gehris⁽¹⁾ was born on 9 Mar 1834. She was buried in Feb 1893 in Chestnut Hill Cem., L. Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., Pa.. She died on 19 Feb 1893. Anna Maria Stahler Gehris was born in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. She was baptized in infancy by Reverend D. Zeller. Daniel Mohr and his wife were the sponsors.

She was confirmed by Reverend German and received as a member of the Evangelical Church on March 20, 1849.

She was united in holy wedlock with Peter Gehris by Reverend M. B. Kemmerer. The union was blessed with six children. She lived to see twelve grandchildren.

She died of dropsy and apoplexy on January 19, 1895 aged 60 years, 10 months, and 10 days. Children were:

i. Ehreta Gehris⁽¹⁾ was born in 1858.

iii. Emma Gehris⁽¹⁾ was born in 1865.
iv. Percival Gehris⁽¹⁾ was born in 1871. He Nickname in "Pus".
v. Oliver Gehris⁽¹⁾ was born in 1877.
