"Nora J. Hart was born in Marion Co. Iowa, July 15th, 1885, departed this life at her home near Elhing, Kansas, Jan. 12, 1921, at the age of 35 years 5 mos 27 days. She was united in marriage to Daniel J. Tipton on March 8, 1910, at Taloga, Oklahoma. To this union were her four sons and two daugt. who with her husband, mother, one brother, one daughter by a former marriage, three step-daughters, and two step-sons, survive to mour her death. She united with the Free Methodist Church in Adams County when ten years old. Funeral Services were held in the Methodist Church at Elhing at three o'clock p.m. Friday, January 14, and was conducted by B. J. Dyck. Buriel was made in the Elbing Cemetery." Parents: James Johnson HART and Sarah Ann PENLAND.

Funderal services for Flora Alice McGhee were held Monday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian church in Otis with the Rev. George Kyncl officiating. . .
Burial was in the Burdett cemetery with Yeamans and Gordon in charge of arrangements.

Obituary--Flora Alice, daughter of J. J. S. and Dorcas A. Harvey, was born near New Castle, Ind., May 4, 1875, and passed away at the Colorado General Hospital in Denver, February 6, 1969, at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 2 days of age.

At the age of four she moved with her parents to Staplehurst, Neb., where they lived for about nine years, when the family moved to Colorado in 1888, to a homestead northeast of Otis. . . . In 1901 she was united in marriage to William D. Gould, . . . until 1915, when they decided to live separately. She came to Otis to live with her parents, who had moved to town. After the death of her parents she continued to live in the home.

She was united in marriage to William McGhee at St. Francis, Kan., on August 20, 1941. He passed away May 1, 1954.

Preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers and sisters. . . .

Alice was of a friendly and generous disposition, always willing to help her numerous friends. She was a very devout Christian all her life and enjoyed going to church wherever she happened to be. Parents: J. J. S. HARVEY and Dorcas A..

She was married to William MCGHEE on 20 Aug 1941 in St. Francis, KS.
