Manville, Ill., Jan. 13. Mrs. Isabel Powell, 72, widow of George E. Powell and daughter of the late Jacob and Jeremiah [sic] Kuns, died in her home near Missal at 6:30 p.m. Sunday following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held from the home at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and at the United Brethern church at Missal at 2 p.m., Rev. Brinton Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips cemetery. Friends may call at the home this afternoon after 3 o'clock until the hour of the services.

The marriage of Isabel Kuns and George E. powell occurred in Pontiac, Sept. 3, 1892, and they became the parents of six children: Mrs. W. A. Brandes, Pontiac; W. E. Powell, Blackstone; Mary J. Powell, Chicago; Mrs. Alvin Riss, Kernan; J. A. Powell, California; Mrs. W. O. Keesee, Blackstone. Mr. Powell preceded his wife in death two years ago. She was a member of the United Brethern church. Mary C. and Benjamin lived on the farm given to them by Jacob all their lives. He died first, and she was still living there when she died. Jean thinks they are also buried at Phillip's Cemetery. After Mary C.'s death, Rosella lived at her farm. Rosella was married more than once, Beson being her last husband's name. Jean was with Rosella when she died at her farm."

Death Certificate lists primary cause of death as exhaustion and contributory causes as chronic myocarditis and senility.
