CORNELL--Erven Orr, 67, of Newtonville, Mass., formerly of Cornell, dired Friday, April 12, at the Veterans Hospital in Boston where he had been a patient for three months. Funeral services were Tuesday with burial in Massachusetts.

Mr. Orr was born Feb. 2, 1901 in Esmen Township, the son of Robert J. and Effie (Zegler) [sic] Orr. He retired two years ago from the Argo Corn Products, Argo, Ill., where he was employed for 39 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Rosen, and two grandchildren, Barry and Linda Rosen, all of Newtonville, Mass. Mrs. Raymond Garretson of Cornell, a niece, her daughter Pamela and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Orr, of 115 Murphy St., Pontiac. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Ray.

Mr. Orr served in the United States Navy during World War II, was a member of the American Legion, Odd Fellows Lodge and the Cornell Methodist Church. Parents: Robert J. ORR and Effie Albertie ZEIGLER.
