Guy Vernard Hall (son of John Hall and Juliet O'Sullivan)⁹⁸⁰ was born 09 Mar 1871 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania⁹⁸⁰, and died 15 Oct 1951 in Picture Rocks, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Emma Clark on 1892, daughter of Benjamin Davis Clark and Nancy Scott Lloyd.

grew up in a very poor family
went to work at age 12
later was a woodsman
Went to Winburne 1903 and worked 20 years as a mine employee
back to Picture Rocks in ladder works - 1930 Census lists his occupation a Shipper at a ladder factory in Picture Rocks.

According to my father (DR Chase, Jr.), he was a cowby in Wyoming after the depression - this would be the time referred to as woodsman above.

As an old man, he sat in a chair and read westerns. His wife thought this quite sinful.
