FIFTH GENERATION

22. Charles Hugh GIBNEY was born on 3 Apr 1889 in Eden Valley, Minnesota. He died on 21 Nov 1961 in Canora, Saskatchewan. He farmed near Sturgis until 1924, at which time he was employed by the grain company operating both in Waldron and Canora. The family lived in Canora and when the grain company closed he became a successful Carpentry Contractor in that town.

He was married to Honora HEALY (daughter of John J. HEALY and Elizabeth E. MCCANN) in 1914 in Sturgis, Saskatchewan. Charles Hugh GIBNEY and Honora HEALY had the following children:

+47 ii. Mary Elizabeth GIBNEY.
48 iii. Tom GIBNEY was born on 5 Jan 1918. He died in 1987.
+49 iv. James Wilfred GIBNEY.
50 v. Joseph GIBNEY was born on 25 Sep 1920 in Canora, Saskatchewan. He died in 1964.
+51 vi. Rita GIBNEY.
52 vii. Margaret GIBNEY was born in 1923 in Canora, Saskatchewan. She died on 4 Jun 1973 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
53 viii. Rev. Charles GIBNEY (photo) was born on 5 Nov 1924 in Canora, Saskatchewan. He was ordained on 12 Jun 1952 in St Gerards, Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He died on 24 Nov 1992 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was buried on 24 Nov 1992 in Riverside Memorial Park, Regina, Saskatchewan.
