34. * John Dawson "Dow" CRIBBENS^{(48) (27)} was born in 1801 in Arkansas. Believe Dow Cribbens is L.D./J.D. Cribbens on the 1937-38-39 Monroe County, Arkansas tax roll. We think that Dow maybe a nickname for John Dawson Cribbens. He may or may not be Narcissus father but believe he is because we found few Cribben in the United states. Also found him in the 1860 Johnson County, Arkansas Census close to Narcissus. Found Dow living in Dwelling #377 - William & Narcissus Warren in Dwelling #386 with other Warrens living in between. He was listed in Floyd Post Office. He was married to * Jerusha "Bettie" Elizabeth ?.

35. * Jerusha "Bettie" Elizabeth ? was born in 1815 in Buncombe County, NC. Believe that she maybe at least part American Indian. Think that the name of Bettie maybe short for Elizabeth, a christian name given when baptized into the religion of the Cribbens family. Found Bettie in the 1870 Johnson County, Arkansas Census living in Dwelling #14 - William & Narcissus Warren in Dwelling #13. Bettie could not read or write. Her son Thomas Cribbens is believed the one mentioned in the story about one of the Warren boys.

iii. Thomas Henry CRIBBENS was born in 1847 in Arkansas. He was born about 1852. He died in 1880 in Johnson County, AR.
iv. Mary CRIBBENS was born in 1848 in Arkansas.
v. Calvin CRIBBENS was born in 1854 in Arkansas.
vi. Martha CRIBBENS was born in 1855 in Arkansas.
vii. Eliza CRIBBENS was born in 1857 in Arkansas.
