243. * Martha BANKHEAD was born before 1755. She died in 1803 in Union District, SC. Children were:

i. John Bethel KENT⁽²³⁵⁾ was born in 1770. John Kent sigend an indenture for the McKissicks in 1793. It reads in part..."that said Daniel and Issac McKissick, heirs at law to the ___estate of Neal McKissick, deceased."
ii. William Samuel KENT was born between 1774 and 1776 in Maryland. He died about 1841. He never married
iii. Elizabeth KENT was born in 1775 in Maryland.
iv. Margaret "Peggy" KENT was born in 1780.

vi. Mary "Polly" KENT was born on 1 Aug 1788 in Buncombe County, NC. ⁽²⁴⁾ Also found her as being born in South Carolina. She died on 22 Jul 1867 in Clinton County, MO. She was from an old southern family.
vii. Mark KENT ,Jr. was born in 1790 in South Carolina.
viii. Jane KENT was born in 1791.
