SECOND GENERATION2. * Argie Lellan WARREN was born on 9 Oct 1924 in Ponca, Newton, AR. He died on 4 Dec 1993 in Nampa, Canyon, ID.(2) He is survived by his wife, Leah of Roswell, two daughters, Vickie Patterson of Weiser, Charlotte Gifford of Caldwell; one son Kim Warren of Boise; eight grandchildren, Milia Shipman of Glendale, AZ., Marlana Salazar of Caldwell, Gena Hauser of Bellevue, NE., Julie Gifford of Caldwell, Shelby Patterson and Arvin Robie of Weiser, and Rickie Patterson of Washington, Cassi Warren of Boise; and five great Grandchildren; five brothers, Albert of Marced, CA., Fred, Van and Henry, of Caldwell, J.C. Warren of Cambridge; five sisters, Cleo Crust of Pasco, WA., Norma Smith of Caldwell, Lois Bates of Santa Cruz, NM., June Wilber of Ontario, OR., and Laura Forschler of Alexandria, VA.; many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles. He was presided is death by his father, mother and two infant brothers. He was buried on 19 Jun 1994 in near Goose Lake, Adams, ID. Father's Day Argie was laid to rest near Goose Lake in Idaho. Present was his wife Leah; daughter, Vickie Patterson, granddaughter, Shelby Patterson, grandson, Arvin Davis; daughter & son-in-law Charlotte & Melvin Gifford, 2 great grand daughters Amanda Salazar & Jennifer Bailey; and son & daughter-in-law Kim & Jeannette Warren and grand daughter Cassie Warren. Kim drove the boat with Melvin and Leah they took Argie for one last ride around the lake. Then Charlotte carried him from the campground to where they left the road. Leah carried him to were he was laid to rest. Melvin dug the hole and laid him to rest. After the dirt was placed over him. Shelby, Arvin, Cassi, Amanda & Jennifer picked wild flowers and placed them on a stone with his initials chiseled in it which was place over him. A picture brought by Vickie was placed near the grave. She played music which she thought he might like. Charlotte wrote and read the following farewell: My Fathers Farewell, O Great Mountain take these Ashes into Your Heart. His sole is as strong as the Might Pine Trees that will now stand watch over him. His spirit is as that of the Osprey that come each spring to fish these waters. In life these Ashes was a man who found peace in the Earth in which he now lays to rest. He, like the Osprey, came here to fish and enjoy the quite of you the Great Mountain. So Hold these Ashes in your heart and let his spirit fly free. Our memories will keep him close to us, we well always remember him. We give him to you as he wanted. Here his spirit like the Osprey can fish these waters forever. Your Loving Daughter; Charlotte. He was a Farmer Retired. Argie was born near the Buffalo River in Newton County, Arkansas. He was one of 7 boys and 5 girls born to this family. He always like to be close to nature. And spent many hours near the rivers and lakes both in Arkansas and Idaho. In 1941 Argie moved to Idaho with his family. First they lived near Roswell. As a young man he found work for many of the different business in the area. He married Leah M. Cone of Roswell. They had three children two girls and a boy. Argie lived and farmed near Roswell with his father-in-law for many years. In 1983 he retired from active farming and spent much of his time fishing. He enjoyed the outdoors. In the winter when the weather was poor, he like to tie fly and cracked walnuts. He raised a few chickens who's feathers he used in his fish flies. He enjoyed his family and he spent many memorable moments horse back riding, fishing, snowmobiling with his children, grand children and great grand children. He liked music and would spend time listening to the radio. He was married to * Leah May CONE on 18 Dec 1943 in Caldwell, Canyon, ID.
3. * Leah May CONE was born on 30 Jan
1926 in Parma, Canyon, ID. The Birth Certificate is filed in Idaho but the house
in which she was born was in Big Bend, Oregon. The Middle name on the original
certificate was Edna. Her mother went in and changed it to May. Children were:
