Appointed Sheriff, Was a member of the House of Burgesses form Weyanoke, 1632, from Henrico Co., 1644-54. He recieved a land patented for 3,000 acres on James River, Henrico County, 1636. He was married to * Mary ASTON in 1652.

14137. * Mary ASTON was born before 1637 in Charles City, Charles City, VA. She died in 1693 in Henrico County, VA. Children were:

i. Elizabeth COCKE was born in 1638 in Henrico County, VA. She died in 1708.
ii. Thomas COCKE was born in 1638 in "Malvern Hills", Henrico County, VA. He died in 1696. He served as Sheriff, Burgess.
