36. * Silas GASKILL ⁽⁷⁹⁾ was born about 1743 in Cumberland, Providence, RI. Also have him born in Salem, Massachusetts. He died on 25 Apr 1818 in Owego, Tioga, NY. Records in possession of descendants at Owego reports that Silas came from Cumberland, RI, via Richmond, NH, to Cox's Patent, New York State in 1789. There they settled Gaskill Corners, his family then consisting mostly of grown sons. The number of children vary, but he is most authentically credited with eight. He was married to * Sarah JILLSON on 3 Mar 1765 in Cumberland, Providence, RI.⁽⁸⁰⁾

37. * Sarah JILLSON ⁽⁸¹⁾ was born on 8 Dec 1745 in Cumberland, Providence, RI. She died in 1818. Children were:

ii. Sylvanus GASKILL⁽⁸²⁾ was born on 5 Sep 1765 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH.
iii. Wilder GASKILL⁽⁸³⁾ was born on 6 Oct 1767 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH. He signed a will on 21 May 1822 in Tioga County, NY. His will was probated pn 20 Oct. 1825. He died on 22 Jul 1822 in Apalachin, Tioga, NY. He was buried in Apalachin Cemetery, Tioga, NY.
iv. Uriah GASKILL was born on 31 Oct 1769 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH. He died.
v. Jonathan GASKILL⁽⁸⁴⁾ was born on 21 Aug 1772 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH. He died in 1805 in New York.
vi. Paul GASKILL⁽⁸⁵⁾ was born about 1775 in Owego, Tioga, NY. He died in 1822 in Indian Territory. It is said that they moved to Illinois.
vii. Joseph GASKILL⁽⁸⁶⁾ was born on 22 Apr 1780 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH. He live in New York state.
viii. Elizabeth GASKILL^{(87) (88)} was born in 1784 in Richmond, Cheshire, NH.
