Fannie about their move to Oregon in 1938 when they left Kansas and move to the
Idaho, Oregon area. This is a list of home where the lived. We left Hiawatha,
Kansas on April, Tue., 5 1938 at 12 min. till 10 o'clock and got to Nyssa, Oregon
on Monday April 11, 1938 at 11:15 o'clock lived in Nyssa till Friday April 13,
1939 in a cabin with two small rooms. Moved down on Mr. Carrols place lived
there till Feb, 7, 1939. Then moved down on Mr. Prudy tenant house lived there
till Mar. 23, 1939. Moved down on Mr. Abbe place lived there till Aug. 15, 1939.
Then moved back to Mr. Prudy tenant house and lived there till Feb. 17, 1940.
Then moved on Mrs. Hart place, the old Walter Loony place, lived there till
Dec. 4, 1940. Then moved back on Mr. Prudy tenant house & farmed his place
till Dec. 2, 1943. Then moved on the place that we bought from Mr. Sellars,
lived there till Sept. 1, 1951. Moved to Ontario, Oregon on 663 North Oregon
St. till Dec. 11, 1951. Moved to 385 North West 3rd Street on Mr. Ashmore place.
He was married to * Fannie Harriet SHEETS on 12 Jun 1912 in Hiawatha, Brown,
KS.(22) Christian and Fannie were both
of Willis and were married at the Presbyterian parsonage, Wednesday noon, by
Rev. R. J. Phipps. The following was had written by Fannie about their move
to Oregon in 1938 leaving Kansas. This is a list of home where the lived.
We left Hiawatha, Kansas on April, Tue., 5 - 1938 at 12 min. till 10 o'clock
and got to Nyssa, Oregon on Monday April 11, 1938 at 11:15 o'clock lived in Nyssa
till Friday April 13, 1939 ina cabin with two small rooms. Moved down on Mr.

SHEETS was born on 11 Jun 1889 in Maysville, DeKalb, MO. She died on
2 Mar 1958 in Ontario, Malheur, OR.(23)
(24) Fannie, 68, died Sunday afternoon
in Ontario. Survivors included her husband on Ontario, five daughters, Mrs.
Norma Gifford of Nyssa, Mrs. Alice Boyer of Hiawatha, Mrs. Anna Brown of Ontario,
Mrs. Marcia Davis of Ontario and Mrs. Dorothy Troughton of Homedale. Three
sons, Arthur and Lester of Caldwell and Sylvester of Parma, a brother Roxie Sheets
of Willis, Kansas and sister, Mrs. Pearl Moll of Rushville, Mo., and 26 grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, at 2 p.m. from the George C. Beechler funeral home
in Ontario with Rev. Harold Johnson, pastor of the First Christian church in
Ontario, officiating. She was buried on 6 Mar 1958 in Evergreen Cemetery, Ontario,
Malheur, OR.(5)

William MOLT was born on 3 May 1913 in Willis, Brown, KS. He died on 18
Jan 1996 in Caldwell, Canyon, ID.(25)
(26) Arthur, 82, of New Plymouth, went
to meet his savior on Thursday, following a brief illness at a Caldwell hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel,
New Plymouth, with Neill Mathews of Nyssa, Oregon, officiating. Vault interment
followed. He was survived by his loving wife, J. Marie of New Plymouth; three
children, Gladys Kochel of Sumner, Washington, Glenn Molt of Adrian, Oregon,
and Lawrence Molt of Boise, Idaho; four sisters, Norma Gifford of Nyssa, Oregon,
Alice Boyer of Horton, Kansas, Anna Davis of Nyssa, Oregon, and Dorothy Troughton
of Fallon, Nevada; two brothers, Slyvester Molt of Parma, Idaho, and Lester Molt
of Jerome, Idaho; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marcia Davis-Derrick, and infant
sister, Evelyn, and an infant brother, Albert. He was buried on 23 Jan 1996
in Parkview Cemetery, near New Plymouth, Payette, ID.
(27)(27) Arthur was the eldest
of nine children. A strong family commitment carried Arthur and Marie through
60 years of marriage. He farmed in Robinson, Kansas, until 1947 when he moved
his young family to the western Treasure Valley. He continued farming until
he retired to New Plymouth in 1991. He was a good friend and neighbor. He had
a good sense of humor.

(22) was born on 27 Jul 1914 in Willis, Brown, KS.

(28) Hand written by her mother on a news paper clipping announcing
her birth was the following: "She died the next day July 28, 1913 named
her Evelyn". She died on 28 Jul 1914 in Willis, Brown, KS.

(27) All sympathize were with Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Molt and son Arthur
in the loss of their infant daughter. She died Tuesday at their home three miles
southeast of Claytonville. Rev. Mr. Keast preached a short sermon at the home
at 3:30 Wednesday and the little white coffin with its sweet contents was taken
by its father and many kind friends and relatives to the cemetery. She was buried
on 29 Jul 1914 in Claytonville Cemetery, Brown County, KS.

(27) Marcia, 69, Ontario, at home following
an illness, (cancer) Memorial services was held at 3:30 p.m., Friday at the
Ontario First Christian Church with Rev. Steve Brabb officiating, under the direction
of Ontario's Lienkaemper Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Ontario;
four children, Howard Davis of Nampa, Mike Davis of Fruitland, Dorothy Dousett
of Las Vegas, and Alan Davis of Ontario; three stepchildren, Tony Baker of Grangeville,
Idaho, Robin Swanson of Lewiston, and Roy Derrick of Germany; three brothers,
Arthur Molt of New Plymouth, Sally Molt of Parma, and Lester Molt of Jerome;
four sisters, Alice Boyer of Hiawatha, Kans., Norma Gifford of Nyssa, Dorothy
Trougton of Fallon, Nev., and Anna Davis of Nyssa; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren. She attended schools in Kansas before moving with
her family to the Big Bend area near Adrian where she continued her education.
After graduation she moved to Ontario where she met and married Lem Davis. After
Lem's death she worked for Keith O'Brian's, the Credit Bureau and as a Scale
Clerk at Ore-Ida until her retirement in 1986. She married Wayne Derrick. She
loved to travel. She and Wayne enjoyed living in Arizona in the winter months.
She loved to sew, and do crafts and hobbies.

Anna Elizabeth MOLT was born on 4 Feb 1928 in Robinson, Brown, KS.

Lewis MOLT was born on 17 Mar 1930 in Willis, Brown, KS. He died on 30 Apr
1930 in Willis, Brown, KS.(27)
(27) Albert, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian A, Molt, at the
age of 15 days. The baby was taken ill Saturday, died the following Tuesday.
There are left to mourn the loss of Albert Lewis, the father-mother, three brothers,
Arthur, Sylvester, Lester, four sisters, Norma, Alice, Marcia, Anna Elizabeth,
one sister, Evelyn, having died in infancy. During the sickness of this little
one, the neighbors did everything possible to help the family. The large crowd
at the funeral at the home was evidence of the esteem in which the family is
held in the community. The singers at the services were; Leslie Gregg, Mrs. Henry
Sinclair, Carl Olson, Mrs. Andrew Nelson, with Mr. Olson at the organ. The body
bearers were Olivene Gregg, Rosaline Spickelmier, Elizabeth Nelson, Genevieve
Jacques. J.T. Sapp had charge of the services. He was buried in Claytonville
Cemetery, Brown County, KS.
