FIFTH GENERATION45. Susan MCKISSICK was born on 3 Jan 1854 in Madison, Fremont, IA. She died on 2 Jan 1942 in Suprise, Polk, NE.(33) Susan was survived by 3 sons, Edwin of Canada, Ernest of Midford, Neb. and Jesse of Shelby; one daughter, Mrs. Hannah Mickey of Surprise; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives. She was buried in Shelby Cemetery, Shelby, Polk, NE.(108) She move from Iowa in 1884 with husband, to Shelby, Polk, Nebraska, She lived in Polk county for 58 years. After George died she continued to live on the farm until July 1941 when her health failed and she then went to make her home with her only daughter, Hannah Mickey of Surprise, Nebraska till she died. She was
married to George Washington MCMILLEN on 28 Mar 1871 in Fremont County, IA.

(69) was born on 12 Feb 1847 in Clarion, Clarion, PA. He died on 7
Mar 1936 in Shelby, Polk, NE.(33) George
was survived by his wife, 4 sons, Ed of Ponoka, Canada, Charles of Sandpoint,
Idaho, Jess & Ernest of Shelby; one daughter Hanna Mickey of Suprise, Neb.;
three sisters, Mrs. Nan Fletcher & Mrs. Sarah Douglas of Hamburg, Iowa, and
Mrs. Clara Birkhimer of Omaha, Neb.; twenty-three grand children, and twenty-three
great grand children. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Steverson,
and was held at the United Brethern Church, tuesday afternoon at two o'clock.
He was buried on 10 Mar 1936 in Shelby Cemetery, Shelby, Polk, NE.
(111) He moved to Hamburg, Iowa as a young child, where he grew to
manhood. After he married they spent thirteen years at Hamburg, Iowa he moved
his family to Nebraska locating on a farm one-half mile south of his late home
near Shelby, where he passed away. George was very active for his years. Susan
