On her marriage certificate to Earl Lewis she lied about 2 things -- number of marriages (Earl was her second) and her father was listed John Thrower and she listed him as deceased. I believe John Thrower was her first husband (Wesley John Thrower) but have yet to prove it.

NMG - 4/19/2008 - Marriage certificate indicates she was a shoemaker at the tme of her marriage.
Also on marriage certificate her place of birth was listed as Lewiston - On Edward Lewis' birth certificate her place of birth was listed as Lisbon Falls. Lisbon Falls was alos listed on her application for a SSN dated 3/27/1950. These towns are close together and her place of birth could be either.
Their residence at the time of Edward's birth was Randolph Maine. Both towns are in Androscoggin County.
