2657. ROLLIN GARY GOLDEN
(photo) was born on 30 Oct 1950 in Fort Bragg, MENDOCINO,
CA. Rollin Golden, the compiler of this collection of family information has
been involved with tracing his ancestors since the early age of 17. His high
school years were spent working for the local newspaper, The Fort Bragg Advocate,
as one of their last printer's devils. It was there that his interest in his
relatives was aroused when one of his great aunts died and the local paper ran
the obituary notice.
After graduating from Fort Bragg High School in 1968, he moved to Rancho Cordova,
east of Sacramento, to attend Sacramento City College. He earned an Associate
in Arts Degree in Advertising in 1970 before transfering to California State
University at Sacramento. In 1972, he earned a Bachelor in Arts Degree in Journalism.
When not attending classes at the local colleges, Rollin worked part-time for
the Sacramento Bee (newspaper) in the Circulation Department having joined them
in September of 1969. After graduating from college in 1972, he continued working
for the Sacramento Bee and finally attained full-time status the following year.
After 2 year working as a clerk in the downtown office, he transfered to one
of the outlying offices as a center clerk.
In 1976, he was promoted to a District Manager in the Circulation Department
and has remained in a similar capacity ever since. Rollin's hobbies, besides
the family tree, are photography, traveling, camping, reading historical novels.
Currently, he lives with his third wife, Jane, and her three children: Stevie,
Larissa and Dylan.
He was married to Betty Louise MORRIS on 31 Oct 1970 in Davis, Yolo County, California. He was divorced from Betty Louise MORRIS on 3 Nov 1978 in Sacramento, California. Betty Louise MORRIS was born on 15 May 1951 in Woodland, Yolo County, California.
He was married to Mary Margaret CALLAGHAN on 7 Mar 1981 in Sacramento, Sacramento Cnty, California. He was divorced from Mary Margaret CALLAGHAN on 13 Jul 1998 in Sacramento, California. Mary Margaret CALLAGHAN was born on 14 Oct 1947 in Sacramento, Sacramento Cnty, California.
He was married to Leslie Jane BOUSCHBACHER (daughter of Harold Dean BOUSCHBACHER, and Carolyn Leslie SIGLER) on 9 Aug 1998 in Sacramento, Sacramento Cnty, California. Leslie Jane BOUSCHBACHER (photo) was born on 26 Nov 1966 in Vallejo, Solano County, California.
