James Olin Jinkens⁴⁵ was born 14 Jan 1906 in Memphis - Scotland County - Missouri^{46, 47}, and died 16 Sep 1968 in Kahoka - Clark County - Missouri^{48, 49}. He married Montressa Von Ceil Burchett on 10 Mar 1935 in Ednia - Knox County - Missouri^{50, 51}, daughter of Jacob Frederick Burchett and Etta Paralee Smith.

James Jinkens is dead at 62

Kahoka, Mo,---James Olin Jinkens, 62, Kahoka, died at 2:30 a.m. today in the Sunny Acres Rest Home, Kahoka. He had been in failing health several yeas.
Mr. Jinkens was born Jan. 14, 1906, in Scotland county, Mo. He was a farmer by occupation. In 1935, at Edina, Mo., he married Von Ceil Burchett, who survives. He was of the Methodist faith.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, James of Ft. Madison, Iowa and Norman of Kahoka; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Lynda) Hand, Sperry, Iowa; one brother, Arthur J. Jinkens, Montebello, Calif.; and five sisters, Ona Boley, Manzanola, Colo., Mrs Belle Stogsdill, Gorin, Mo., Mrs Edith Smith and Mae Jinkens of Memphis, Mo., and Opal Long, Burlington, Iowa.
The body is at the Gutting Funeral Chapel, Kahoka, where final rites will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Ft. Madison, Iowa.
The family will meet friends at the funeral chapel Tuesday evening.

Olin Jinkens is married

Bride is Miss Von Ceil Burchett of La Junta, Colo.

Olin Jinkens, son of Jas. M. Jinkens of Memphis, and Miss Von Ceil Burchett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burchett of La Junta, Colorado were married at Edina Sunday afternoon, March 11, by the pastor of the Methodist church there.
Mr. and Mrs. Jinkens returned to Memphis Sunday evening and started housekeeping in an apartment they have rented in the R.F. Dickerson property on North Market street.
Mr. Jinkens is employed at the West Produce Company and is a will-liked young Memphis man. Mrs. Jinkens is a graduate nurse and has made many acquaintances here while visiting at the home of Mr. Mrs. Virgil Stogsdill.
The couple were given a charivari at their home by their friends Tusday night.

Burchett-Jinkens

Miss Von Ceil Burchett arrived here from her home in La Junta, Colo., Sunday and was married that afternoon to Olin Jinkens of Memphis.
The groom met her at the train at Baring, Mo. and from there they went directly to Edina, Mo. where the ceremony ws performed.
Mr. Jinkens works at the West Produce company.
A group of their friends charivaried them, Tuesday night, at the Robert Dickerson home, where they have taken rooms.
