Sharon Cruze

Sharon Mae (Jinkens) Cruze, 26, San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Fort Madison, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994, at her home.
She was born March 21, 1967, at Fort Madison, Iowa, the daughter of James Fredrick and Loretta Marie Vickers Jinkens. On Jan. 23, 1987, she married William T. Cruze at Fort McClellan, Ala.
Born and raised in Fort madison, Mrs. Cruze spent four years in Germany and the last three years in San Antonio. She was a pharmaceutical technician, civilian employee, with the US Army in San Antonio. She was a 1985 graduate of Fort Madison High School and a member of the Kirby Baptist Church in San Antonio.
Survivors include one son, Aaron Michael Cruze, and one daughter, Britanie Marie Cruze, both at home; her parents, James and Loretta Vickers Jinkens, Fort Madison; two brothers, Jimmie (James) Jinkens, Fort Madison, and Dale O. Jinkens, Lee's Summit, Mo.; two sisters, Kathy (Kathleen) McClellan, Birmingham, Iowa, and Sarah L. Meierotto, Fort Madison; two grandmothers, Von Ceil Jinkens, Fort Madison, and Jessie Vickers, Elvaston, Ill.; and many aunts , uncles and cousins.
She was preceeded in death by two grandfathers and one niece.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at King-Lynk Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Fort Madison, with the Rev. Robert Kraus officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
A trust fund has been established for her children. King-Lynk Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
