Moses was 6 years old at ime the Confederacy invaded Pennsylanvia. Claimed to have remembered hearing the cannon fire. Was a school teacher when he moved to Kansas. Worked for the Railroad during summer vacations, decided working for the RR was more rewarding financially than teaching. Bacame a full time Car Inspector for the Rock Island Rail Road.
