My name is Francisco(Frank) Fuentes,Jr. and I was named by my mother, Guadalupe(Gomez) Fuentes and my father ,FraciscoFuentes.I was born in Laredo,Texas on March 15,1942. I was born in Mercy Hospital,Laredo,Texas. I attended McDonald Elementary,Leyendecker Elementary,L.J.Christen Junior High and Martin High School where I graduated in 1960. I played baseball,basketball and football. I started dating at the age of 16 but without my family's blessings. Since may father passed on March 10,1942,five day before I was born,I was brought up with high more standards, lots of love for God and family,material things were not essential on our everyday living, therefore,my allowance was 25 cents per week until I became a teenager was dating and could afford to buy my accomplice a 3 cent sucker. Later I was getting 50 cents allowance per week and I sure was happy. We were taught, at a very early age, we had to help each other all the time whatever chores were to be done around the house, including helping with the cooking. We used to spend our summers working around the house,going fishing with our uncles, and going to the movies. When I was in High School, I had a part-time job, after school at the Laredo Times as a proof reading assistant and clean-up-boy;until my graduation from Martin High School in 1960. I joined the U.S. Air Force in September 1960 went Thur basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and was stationed at Castle Air Force Base in California as a Administrative Specialist. I went to Bit burg Germany in December 1962 on a Temporary Duty Assignment and returned to Castle Aires Force Base where I received my honorable discharge in June 1964.Then in 1984, I was employed by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service as an Immigration Inspector at Laredo Port of Entry in Laredo Texas. I worked with INS until my retirement in September 1997.

My present wife,Maria Guadalupe (Garza) Fuentes and I met on November 22,1978 at Casa Blanca Ballroom dance and wedded by Civil Ceremony in Laredo,Texas on November 30, 1979. I have two children from a previous marriage,Christina Annette Fuentes,born August 12,1966 in Merced California and Robert Anthony Fuentes ,born August 22,1970 in Merced, California. Christina has a daughter, Danielle Nicole Fuentes,born October 22,1996 in Merced California and Robert has two children Robert Anthony Fuentes Jr. ,born July 5,1991 and Dezirae Suzanne Fuentes born January 25,1995 both born in Merced, California.

My mother and father were born in Laredo,Texas. My mother was housewife while my father was employed as a bottler at R.C. Cola Bottling Company ,in Laredo,Texas. My mother and father met at school and were so much in love with each other. They were married in Senora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Laredo,Texas while my mother was 21 years of age. I have a older brother,Armando Fuentes and sister,Estela I.(Fuentes) Banda.
