* My Welsh, Dutch, Irish and Scottish Family*

Updated October 14, 2000

The surnames of my ancestors include Humphreys, Pritchard, Parry, and Williams, as well as Graham, Connor, Eggers, Vanderwall (van der Wal), Tuiten, Witmus, Bosma, Woudstra, Knol, Propstra, Feenstra, van Koten, Wolf, van der Werf, Kuiper, Krikke, Pot, Mast and Feitse. I have over 4,000 individuals in my database, and I haven't even started researching the Grahams and Connors yet! Also included are the ancestors of several relatives, whether related by blood or by marriage. My own ancestors came from Scotland (although I have yet to determine the exact origin there) Carrickfergus, N. Ireland, the Friesland area of The Netherlands, and Carnarvonshire, N. Wales, especially Llanlechid, Llandegai and Dolwyddelan. I have gotten back to the 1700s in Friesland, but only the early 1800s in Wales and Ireland. Other prominent names in my family are Carroll, Ellis, Harrington, Mullen, Heydegger, Jones and Dye.
I'm still trying to straighten out which people were David Pritchard's siblings and which were actually his first cousins. Another puzzle is whether Evan Williams, who lived in Slatington, PA from 1860 until at least 1910, was John Humphreys' mother Mary's brother, first cousin or uncle, or not even related.

I am also trying to determine the origins of my great-grandfather, William John Graham, son of Robert, born in August 1856. He was living in Govan, Scotland in 1877, shortly before he married Eliza Connor in Ireland.

Any help would be much appreciated, and I would gladly share any information that I have.
