Liz Farance says of her knowledge of her family "Grandma did a lot of the paper trail for us. We have a photo album and a book she did." At the time of the Des Moines Sunday Register story about her parents' hard times during the Depression (printed Nov. 20, 1977), Margaret lived in Pierson, Iowa.
