3. DELIE LEVINA3 SMITH (GEORGE WASHINGTON2, JAMES1) was born August 11, 1875 in Sevier County, Arkansas, and died February 16, 1958 in Ardmore, Carter County, Oklahoma. She married (2) DAVID R. GREEN. He was born July 20, 1849 in Illonoise, and died October 06, 1911 in Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma. She married (3) JAMES GAZZARD MONROE FIELDER, son of FRANKLIN FIELDER and SARAH SNELLGROVE. He was born February 25, 1860 in Mississippi River, Tennessee, and died June 10, 1933 in Cliff, Oklahoma.

Notes for DAVID R. GREEN:
Delia was known to everyone in the family as Granny Feilder. Mr. Green died and she had all the kids to take care of by herself. She met Mr. Feilder at church. He would walk her home from church and the second time he did he told her he was a widower and his kids needed a mama, she was a widow and her kids needed a papa, so why didnt they just go ahead and get married. So they did.Granny Feilder thought by marrying Mr. Feilder her kids would be able to go to school and get a decent education but Mr. Feilder had a lot of cotton crops and he had all the kids work in the fields year round rather than go to school. Between the two of them they had 18 children all together!!
