I have just begun to search my roots. At the present time all I know for sure is my father was Edward (nmn) Gray and my mothers maiden name was Grace (nmn) Elam, both were born in Arkansas. My father on 9/10/1893 and my mother on 11/17/1901. Maternal grandparents are Dave (nmn) Elam and Bessie Belle Scates, who were also from Arkansas. I believe my paternal grandparents were Cyrus Gray and Katherine Biggs. My maternal great grandparents I believe were Greenriver Scates and Queen Victoria Taylor. Possibly Cherokee Indians. Cyrus Gray and Katherine Biggs may have been from Mississippi and moved to Arkansas. Anyone with any information please contact me at address below.
