Notes for John Mark Kennedy: Known as 'young Jack' in deference to 'old Jack' his father. According to Ida Butcher in conversation 26 Feb 1991: had a short temper he was paratrooper in WWII; saw service in Palastine in 1947, a couple of months after his first wedding (to Mary?). Slightly wounded there. first wife was thought to be called Mary of which not much is known. Ida claims she was after Jacks 'de-mob' money. Marriage lasted very briefly - approx one year only - after which Mary 'shot through'. She apparently played around a lot. The break up occured after 2 Oct 1948 as both were at Bob and Ida's wedding on that date.
