M/C shows "of full age" for both bride and groom. Groom's occupation not clear but looks like "sizer". Father of the groom was James Farrell, also a sizer. Father of the bride was John Rhodes, a hatter. Address of the groom is shown unclearly as ? Franchise? Place Green Hey. Bride's address was 23 Little David Street. The ceremony took place in the Collegiate Parish Church, Parish of Manchester.

Bride made her mark. Age at DoM suggests birth dates earlier than previously thought. Was Abt 1817 and 1818 for Groom and Bride respectively.
1871 census shows Jane as widowed. Son George and duaghter Millicent stiil at home plus many boarders. NB address is still 13 Union St but place of birth is given as Newcastle. On 1861 census it was shown as Manchester.
