| Hello, My name is Phil Guercio. I am the third son of Joseph Guercio and Florence Monahan. The Guercio name is wide spread and most Guercio's came to the United States from Sicily in the late 19th and early 20th century. My great grandfather Giuseppe (Joseph) immigrated to the U.S. in 1900. He was a shoemaker. His wife Rosa (Giallanza) and children Francesco (Frank), Filippo (Philip), and Nicolina arrived in 1901.They went on to have two more children.
