Edgar Troup Hines (son of Benjamin Franklin Hines I and Martha Jane Griffin) was born March 13, 1867 in Attapulgus, Decatur Co. Ga., and died June 09, 1933 in Bainbridge, Decatur Co. Ga. Oak City Cemetery. He married Martha Bangs Newsome on September 07, 1892 in Taibottom, Tatbot Co, Ga., son of Thomas Wesley Newsome and Clara Francis Ragland.
