Alexander Paschall (son of William Paschall and Polly Ann Nichols) was born 1778, and died 1864. He married Susanna Morgan.

Alexander is the Paschall who moved to
Weakley, Tenn. from N. C. He was of the era of Davy Crockett and went west at about the same time Crockett did. One evening as Alexander was out in the woods looking over land he might want to homestead in Tenn, he came to spring. There he saw a huge black bear feeding. Alexander immediately shot the bear and the next day he filed a claim for the property. Alexander and his wife were buried in Weakley, Tenn. on land that is now soybeans. The markers were prowed under when the great soybean fields were planted.

Alexander's son Jesse Morgan Paschall settled just a few miles away in Fulton, Ky. There he raised a large family including Gideon (a physician) Patman, (a Texas rancher/farmer), Alexander, Jesse, Deborah, Perry, Demitra, Marion, Polly Ann Sarah, Martha Bullock, Newton Julian (another physician) Delestia, and Lola Montez (died in infancy).
