Benjamin Franklin Sammons (son of Oliver Salmons and Elizabeth Cleveland) was born 1840 in Ga, and died 1926 in Ga. He married Sarah Reed on 12 Feb 1865 in Hart co Ga, daughter of James Reed and Ellender Baily.

Frank was wounded in both legs in the second Bull Run at Manassas,Va. on Aug. 30th 1862 He was present At Fredricksburg Va.on Dec.13th 1862.His unit surrended at Appomattox Va. on April 9 1865.There are a notation on page that he had been resident of Ga, since Oct,26 1868 persumably from his pension Application Frank is buried At Reed Creek Baptist Church in Hart Co Ga.Has an csa marker plus A iron Confederate Marker. no birth dates if Sarah is buried there No head stone But there are a slab stone by Frank plus looks like A baby grave also.Have pictures that show the graves,The church does not say if Sarah is buried there.I still want to say that is her grave beside him.
