1034. Grace Mae BROWN (photo) was born on 3 Jan 1914 in Dry Branch, Morehead, Rowan County, Kentucky. She died on 2 Sep 1996 in Elk Lick, Rowan Co., Kentucky. She was buried on 5 Sep 1996 in Patrick Cem., Magoffin Co., Kentucky. Grace was raised on Dry Branch just off of Cranston Road in Rowan County Kentucky. Her father was a farmer and taught school. Grace was raised in a large family who were very close. She loved her children and was widowed while very young and had 5 children to raise alone. She later married Harold Yoder and had two children by him. Grace loved to write poetry. She put together a book dedicated to her descendents wherein she wrote letters describing her life and including pictures and her poems. Grace was the family matiarch. Everyone always gathered in at her home on the holidays. She kept up with all of her grandchildren's lives. She clipped newspaper articles, attended all graduations, and other special events. She had a strong faith in God and an undying love for her beloved Keyser. Grace taught some school at Clark School. There is much more about her life written in her own words. Her book is titled Grace.

She was married to Charles Keyser LOVELY (son of William LOVELY and Georgeann RISNER) on 17 Apr 1934 in Triplett, Rowan Co., Kentucky. Charles Keyser LOVELY (photo) was born on 8 Feb 1909 in Cisco, Magoffin County, Kentucky. He died on 7 May 1947 in Lexington, Fayette Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Patrick Lovely C, Elsie, Magoffin County, Kentucky. Keyser is was raised at Cisco, Magoffin County, KY. He attended Morehead Normal School where he became a teacher. He met Grace May Brown while attending college. After marrying, he taught school for awhile in Magoffin County. They then moved to Rowan County where he taught at the Clark School. Keyser ran a small store on his farm at the time of his death. He told his wife, who had five children, "Just do the best you can." Grace Mae BROWN and Charles Keyser LOVELY had the following children:

She was married to Harold YODER. Harold YODER was born on 8 Jul 1915 in Bellefontaine, Logan Co., Ohio. He died on 22 May 1967 in Morehead, Rowan Co., Kentucky. He was buried in , Bellefontaine, Ohio. Grace Mae BROWN and Harold YODER had the following children:
