1128. Frazier Lee BROWN (12) was born on 23 Oct 1906 in Guthrie Co. IA. He died on 11 Jun 1967 in Smith Center, KS. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center. Ks. Was a newspaper publisher. Frazier's newspaper career ended in the same build in which it began 42 years early when he worked his first day when he was to graduate from Smith Center High school. Frazier was very curious how machinery worked and studied the newspaper machinery closely, soon mastering it. He was called upon by other papers to repair their presses. Frazier worked for the Smith County Pioneer for several years, then the Smith County Review until they merged. He became a partner in this paper and was a partner in the Osborne County Farmer from 1958 to 1964. He was a member of the First Christian Church were he served as an elder. Mr. Brown was an avid golfer and square dancer. In later years he suffered from heart trouble and was unable to participate and began callling the dances. He was known to express his views . He was a staunch republican and was very opinionated.

He was married to Eva Gertrude OLSON on 7 Sep 1930 in Athol, KS. Eva Gertrude OLSON was born on 12 Apr 1906 in Lebanon, KS. Frazier Lee BROWN and Eva Gertrude OLSON had the following children:

child1745 ii. Ronald Lee BROWN was born on 26 Aug 1934 in Smith Center, KS. He died on 20 Sep 1942.
