10. Low BROWN Jr. was born in 1795 in Tazwell Co., Virginia. He was born between 1795 and 1798 in Tazwell Co., Virginia. He died on 22 Oct 1869 in Carter Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Tabor Cemetery, Elliot County, Kentucky. Low Brown Jr. first appears on the Morgan County records in 1840, when tax lists show him as having 1 horse, and no land. 1840 Morgan co Census records reveal three male children between the ages of 10 and 15 and four females below the age of 5 years. (The males were by his first marriage; the females by his second) 1842 finds Low with 80 acres on Middle Fork of Sandy; 1843 shows his land ownership on Newcomb Fork of the Sandy as 150 acres. 1845 is the last year that Low appears on the Morgan Co. tax records. In 1846 he appears on tax lists of neighboring Carter Co. -listed are: 1 horse, or mule,-no land or children. Carter Co. tax lists for 1847-1851 are missing, but the 1850 Carter County census lists Low and his family. It appears that Low followed his son-in-law Jame Tabor into Carter Co., perhaps leaving his family in Morgan while he staked his claim. Low died in 1869 and was buried in the Tabor Cem. in Elliot County. His second wife died 30 years later.

He was married to Eleanor COMPTON (daughter of John Sr. COMPTON and Eleanor UNKNOWN) on 25 Feb 1819 in Tazwell Co., Virginia. Eleanor COMPTON was born in 1801 in Virginia. She died about 1833 in Tazewell Co., Virginia. Low BROWN Jr. and Eleanor COMPTON had the following children:

He was married to Mary TABOR on 14 Nov 1833 in Tazewell Co., Virginia. Mary TABOR was born in 1812 in Virginia. She died in 1899 in Carter Co., Kentucky. She has reference number 57. Low BROWN Jr. and Mary TABOR had the following children:
