SIXTH GENERATION

1681. Catherine Marcella LOVELY (photo) was born on 24 May 1935 in Cisco, Magoffin, Kentucky. Marcella was the oldest child in her family. She lost her dad very early and had to help raise her siblings. Her mom said that Marcella was like her right hand and said that the second hardest thing in her life (the first being the loss of Keyser) is when Marcella married and left home. Marcella began raising a family while very young. She helped on the farm, kept house and took care of her children. When she divorced she had to take over the farm work and try to feed her family. Marcella went on to complete her highschool education by Attending the Adult Education Program and obtaining her GED. Marcella worked in a sewing factory in Olive Hill. Marcella is known to be a very hard worker. She preferred working outside on the farm. She raised tobacco and cattle for years.

Catherine Marcella LOVELY and Harrison JOHNSON had the following children:

She was married to William Talmadge HAMILTON Sr. (son of Roland Clinton HAMILTON and Amelia Elizabeth ADAMS) on 16 Nov 1950 in Morehead, Rowan Co., Kentucky. She was divorced from William Talmadge HAMILTON Sr.. William Talmadge HAMILTON Sr. (photo) was born on 1 Aug 1921 in Carter County, Kentucky. He died on 22 Jul 1989 in Morehead, Kentucky. He was buried on 25 Jul 1989 in Flat Fork Cem, Carter County, Olive Hill, Kentucky. He has reference number 2. Nickname was Tad. Was Crippled as result of brain hemmorage.
Went by the nickname of "TAD". He spent most of his adult life walking on a
cane with his right side paralyzed. Tad was very "wild" as a young man and was
known to drink, and make moonshine. Tad enjoyed trading knives and guns. He
was a sharp trader. Tad, when he was able, helped farm his dad's land, run a
sawmill and logged. He worked out the Castle Farm from his dad. Tad had a
sharp mind for remembering how people were related. The brain hemmorage did
affect his mind in that he would get angry over any thing he felt the least
strongly about. Tad enjoy being around his children. Even though he was
crippled, he would walk for miles on his cane to come see them. He lived his last several years in Morehead, Rowan County. He spent his last 3 years in Life Care Center Of Morehead, after suffering a stroke. He died of pneumonia
Tad told many different stories of growing up. He told one story about riding a pony to school and riding it right into the classroom. It did not impress the teacher. He told of playing a prank on a neighbor. One night he and a friend slipped and loaded up the neighbor's store on his log truck and moved it to the end of a desert hollow. Cleve Masters, the owner, was really lost for words.
Tad joined church just across the road from where he attended school, Flat Fork Church. His birth certificate # is 81 40024 Amelia Adams. Catherine Marcella LOVELY and William Talmadge HAMILTON Sr. had the following children:

She was married to Clifford Arnold LOGAN on 9 Oct 1990 in Dry Branch, Kentucky, Carter Co. Ky. Clifford Arnold LOGAN (photo) was born on 8 Dec 1933 in Fitch, Lewis Co., Kentucky. Catherine Marcella LOVELY and Clifford Arnold LOGAN had the following children:
